ICT Academy of Kerala (ICTAK) Joins as VMware Regional Academy

ICT Academy of Kerala ( ICTAK ) has been appointed as VMware IT Regional Academy for Kerala. ICTACK is a Social Enterprise created in a Public Private Partnership model (PPP) for imparting ICT skills to the youths of Kerala and improve their employ-ability opportunities in the Industry.


As part of this engagement, ICTAK & VMware will work towards empowering faculty and student community in the coming months by : 

• Setting up VMware Certified Professional ( VCP ) training centers  in association with academic partners. Students enrolling at these centers will be able to take up VCP courses at ZERO cost and would also be eligible for a 70% discount on VMware certifications 
• Offering VMware Academic resources to its academic partners, there by faculty & students will access VMware products, developer tools and other learning contents.

ICTACT Partner in Success Awards 2015 - VMware

ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu has recognized VMware as - ICTACT Partner in Success for year 2015.  The award is in recognition to our efforts in empowering faculty and student community from tier 2 & 3 cities/colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu.

The award was handed over by Lakshmi Narayan, Vice Chairman, Cognizant (CTS ). 

REVA University Joins VMware IT Academy Program

 REVA University, Bangalore to offer VMware courses & certification to its students.

ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu joins as regional academy for India under VMware IT Academy program

ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu, a not-for-profit autonomous organization, an Initiative of Government of India, Government of Tamil Nadu and Industry  - has joined VMware IT Academy program as the first Regional Academy in the country.   As part of the engagement, VMware - ICTACT  will jointly work towards : 

• Identifying 50 VMware academies from Tamil Nadu
• Empowering 100 higher education faculties on VMware foundational skills 
• Offer short courses on Data Center Virtualization, Network Virtualization, Enterprise mobility and Hybrid Cloud  to students 
• Organizing seminars and conferences in various regions for Faculty and student community.
